Description
Stony Brook University School of Medicine of the State University of New York invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the division of Gastroenterology.

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist with strong clinical interests to play an active role in the development of clinical programs of the division. Stony Brook is located in suburban Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, offering excellent schools and wonderful recreational activities, including access to beaches, boating and the cultural wealth of New York City. The level of appointment will be dependent on credentials and experience.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MD or equivalent, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Experience in clinical care and teaching. Skilled in a variety of endoscopic procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Focus on general gastroenterology and non-transplant hepatology as well as teaching and clinical research.

Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure). Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
