The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System (OKLVAHS), Oklahoma City OK, is recruiting a Board Certified (BC) / Board Eligible (BE) General Gastroenterologist for inpatient (10-15%) and outpatient (89-90%) opportunity, responsible for full scope and range of general and upper/lower endoscopic procedures such as ERCP. Selected physician will participate in the education and supervision of trainees, so should demonstrate strong “bread & butter” GI experience and training, along with strong research experience and interest. The OKLVAHS is a 192-bed tertiary care teaching hospital in central Oklahoma, classified as complexity level 1a and academically affiliated with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  

  • Must be a Citizen of the U.S. (Non-Citizens May Be Considered)
  • Must be BC / BE in Gastroenterology
  • Must have current unrestricted U.S. medical license  

Benefits and Features: 

  • Expected Salary range for well qualified Gastroenterologist will range from $300,000.00 to $360,000.00, with consideration given to candidate's qualifications, credentials and experience; and may include up to $15,000 in Annual Performance Bonus
  • A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive of up to 15% of salary and/or Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) of up to $200,000 may be considered for well-qualified selected candidate based on facility funding availability and discretion
