Academic Gastrointestinal Pathologist Faculty Position
The University of Utah Department of Pathology seeks a full-time academic faculty Gastrointestinal, Pancreaticobiliary and Hepatic Pathologist at any academic level and in either the Clinical or Tenure Track, who is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and GI Pathology fellowship trained or with equivalent experience.
 
The University of Utah and ARUP Laboratories has a large and growing gastrointestinal, hepatic and pancreaticobiliary subspecialty clinical service, double fellowship training program, and research program. The GI service faculty include Mary Bronner, MD, Kajsa Affolter, MD, Kim Evason, MD PhD, Maria Pletneva, MD PhD, Gillian Hale, MD, Fred Clayton, MD, Jola Jedrzkiewicz, MD, Katherine Boylan, MD, and Mariana Moreno Prats, MD, who have over 100 collective years of experience and who bring perspective from their training at the major schools of GI pathology in the USA, including Johns Hopkins, U of WA, U of UT, Cleveland Clinic, UCSF, U of MI, Stanford, U of Toronto, and the U of Chicago. The appropriate individual will participate in clinical service, research, and teaching within the division. Ample opportunities are available for research at the ARUP Research and Development Institute, University of Utah Health Sciences Center, and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
