MEDICAL DIRECTOR: Gastroenterology Service Line

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physician with demonstrated clinical and leadership skills, to lead our comprehensive Valley-Wide Gastroenterology team.

Details and requirements of this position include:

• This position provides oversight for Valley-wide Gastroenterology clinical and financial performance
• This leader ensures the clinical quality of those providers and implements and tracks system clinical quality initiatives
• Excellent clinical training and a strong interest in program development, mentorship, and performance
• Serves as a member of the BMG executive and clinical leadership teams and supports effective collegial relationships with applicable internal and external constituents and stakeholders
• The Service Line Medical Director role will be 10-30% administrative based on the span and scope of responsibility with the remaining time assigned to clinical duties
• BC/BE MD or DO and level of expertise typically gained through five years of experience in clinical practice
• Three years of leadership experience either within a medical group or hospital-organized medical staff
• Candidates who also hold a Master’s Degree preferred
